In March,Provogue released A Day In Nashvillea tour de force of live studio recording, accomplished literally, in just one day in Nashville. Into The Suncame out in March Exploring the range of the studio with a fresh approach, he weaves in and out of surprising musical moments, ear-wormy hooks, and thoughtful lyrical themes.

His sophisticated approach to the blues is evident throughout, yet the record is far more diverse regarding song structure and style. The recording is unique in every way for Robben, both in its composition and method of recording. This is one of the favored recordings of his career.
